The intercultural Bible is an institute in migration. It means that the institute is deplacing itself, changing positions and viewpoints. It is looking for hospitality and is depending on it. This may be considered a „gospel-quality“: Jesus moved around, he was often a guest. Sometimes intercultural encounters opened up new ways of perception. This has continued through the history of Christian faith. Today we live in a time of big migration-movements and - for the privileged - possibilities of travelling. The Christian faith, ways of Bible-interpretation are thereby travelling and migrating as well. This leads to new challenges - and possibilities - in the intercultural encounter.
